Amend Flexible Booking​

In order to use the Amend Flexible Booking action, you'll need to create a template which maps form data to the updated booking.

  1. Open a form, and navigate to Templates in the top navigation bar.
  2. Click the New Template button. A window will open, asking which Template type to use.
  3. Select Amend Flexible Booking under the "Flexible Booking" section, and click the Next button.
  4. Enter a title and click the Next button.
  5. Select the corresponding Flexible Event Booking question to be amended and click the Next button.
  6. Edit the fields to represent what you would like each new booking to be. You can add variables, such as the answer from a question, by clicking the Variable button. If left blank, the field will default back to the setting in the booking configuration. Once you've set up these fields, click the Save button to create the template.

Move Flexible Booking​

To use the Move Flexible Booking action, you'll need to create a template which maps form data to the updated booking.

  1. Open a form, and navigate to Templates in the top navigation bar.
  2. Click the New Template button. A window will open, asking which Template type to use.
  3. Select Move Flexible Booking under the "Flexible Booking" section, and click the Next button.
  4. Enter the Template title.
  5. Select the Existing Flexible Event question. This is the booking which will be moved. It should be mapped to the answer variable from an Existing Flexible Bookings component.
  6. Select the New Flexible Booking question. This is the question which will allow the person to select their new slot for their booking. It should be mapped to the recurring booking ID variable.
  7. Click the Save button to create the template.

Delete Flexible Booking​

To use the Delete Flexible Booking action, you'll need to create a template which maps form data to the booking to be deleted.

  1. Open a form, and navigate to Templates in the top navigation bar.
  2. Click the Create Template button. A window will open, asking which type of action we want to create a template for.
  3. Select Delete Flexible Booking under the "Flexible Booking" section, and click the Next button.
  4. Enter a title and select the Booking question which contains the booking to delete when this action is run. It should be mapped to the answer variable from an Existing Flexible Bookings component.
  5. Click the Save button to create the template.
